Welcome to Anglers Inn International at Lake El Salto, Mexico! This incred­ible Largemouth Bass fisheries are located northeast of Mazatlán at the base of the Sierra Madre Mountains. With over 45 miles of shoreline, El Salto’s unique fishery offers anglers an incredible opportunity to fish for the trophy Largem­outh Bass. While our newer lake, Picachos, is well on the way to becoming one of the best bass lakes in the world!   • Payments at the Lodge

    The lodge only accepts cash in US money as payment for all incidentals (gratuities, phone calls, souvenirs etc.) Credit cards are NOT accepted. All Lodging, Goods and Service Taxes (GST) are included in your package price.

  • Gratuities for Guides and Lodge Staff

    Since many anglers ask how much to tip the guides and lodge staff, here is a guideline (based on double occupancy). Most anglers tip about $55 per day per person ($30 for guides and $25 for staff). Here is an example:  

    4 Nights / 3.5 Days Fishing Trip (double occupancy)  

    Staff Gratuity = $100 (per angler)  

    Guide Gratuity = $100 (please tip double this amount if fishing SINGLE)  

    TOTAL: $200 (per angler) 

    NOTE: An envelope is provided for each angler at the end of the stay for the staff gratuity. We kindly ask you to tip your guide directly at the end of your last fishing session.

Fishing Itinerary

Wake-Up Call and Breakfast

Wake-up call is at around 5:00AM with coffee or other preferred beverage delivered to your room. Breakfast is served at around 5:30AM, so you should be awake, dressed and ready for breakfast by then. You will be on the water by sunrise!

Morning Fishing Session

After breakfast, gather your fishing gear and the staff will escort you to the boat launch area where the guides will be waiting to start your day of fishing. Your morning fishing session will end at around 11:00AM. Cold beverages will be available in your boat (including beer, soft drinks, bottle water and Gatorade).

Lunch/Siesta

Lunch is served at around 11:30 AM. Afterward, you can take a siesta and/or relax under a palapa. Onsite massage/salon services are available at an additional charge.

Afternoon Fishing Session

Your afternoon fishing session will begin around 1:30 PM (Fall/Winter) and around 3:00 PM (Spring/Summer). You will fish until dusk and return to the lodge for cocktail hour.

Dinner

After returning to the lodge, enjoy a cocktail, eat dinner, and share the highlights of the day with the other guests.
